PADI TecRec Tec 40 Diver Course in BaliPADI TecRec Technical Dive Course Description
The Tec 40 course is the first step towards becoming a technical diver. During this course, you learn how to use decompression software and dive computers to plan and make decompression dives with no more than 10 minutes of total decompression and not deeper than 40 metres.You also learn how to use a single cylinder of decompression gas with up to 50% oxygen (EANx50) to add conservatism to the required decompression. The equipment you use when doing the course with Geko Dive is a full technical rig, composed of double cylinders, deco cylinder, backplate, harness and wing. The Tec 40 course is credited towards the next steps in technical dive education: the TecRec Tec 45 and TecRec Tec 50 courses.

Technical diving is a dangerous activity and may not be fit for everyone. Enrollment in courses must be approved by the instructor. It may be requested of the diver to do a try-out dive first.
