Over the years, the Geko Dive Team learnt what makes a great dive operation. Clean gas with good fills (210bar or change your tank), top-notch equipment, great facilities, own custom-made dive boats, respect for standards in diving, working with the best local and foreign dive guides and instructors, adaptability to divers’ needs and desires or care for the environment are but prerequisites.
While this is a good beginning, it is not enough! What is essential to the Geko Dive Team is that divers arrive as customers and leave as friends; then return as friends before departing as family. After all, spending great times together, both underwater and at the surface, is what diving is all about. This is why so many of our guests just keep on coming back and some decide to stay for good... And Bali is a great place to do just that!

In 2022, Geko Dive Bali is celebrating its 25th anniversary since inception by Bob & Sue Jarvis. This scuba diving centre is Padang Bai's longest running dive operator. - Bali’s Liberty Shipwreck is on every wreck diver’s bucket list. Torpedoed in 1942, this WW2 shipwreck teems with fish life, from macro to large fish. Scuba dive Tulamben’s unique shore diving site from Geko Dive’s Padang Bai dive centre.
- Built in 2009, Padang Bai’s Jetty was never used for its intended purpose. Instead it now counts amongst Bali’s best macro dive sites. Frogfish, rhinopias, blue-ring and mimic octopus, nudibranchs, all dwell in this classic, Bali muck dive site.
- Always dreamt of swimming with manta rays? Look no further! Bali's Manta Point is simply one of the best places in the entire world to dive with giant mantas all year round, one hour from Padang Bai, right next to Nusa Penida and Lembongan.
- Bali’s Gili islands dive sites are some of the Indonesia’s very best. Big fish lovers enjoy sharks, pelagics, rays, mola-mola sunfish and great corals. Gili Biaha, Tepekong and Mimpang also count among the less crowded Bali dive sites, unlike Crystal Bay.
